Guangzhou Underground Vampire Attack?
First published: 08th October 2012
A 70-year-old man in Guangzhou attacked and bit a teenager in a dispute over queue-jumping on the underground railway.
It is uncertain whether the attacker was a vampire. Certainly, the authorities have not claimed that this was a vampiric attack. However, the attacker was old, yet physically strong, and bit the victim, drawing blood. The attack took place underground. Conversely, the attacker's dress-sense is questionable - shorts, t-shirt and sandals are not generally stylish; he was not reported as actually drinking the blood and he did not flee the scene by transforming into a bat or mist.
